Here is what we know,
The first supply of COVID-19 Vaccine has arrived in BC. Please be advised the COVID-19 Vaccine is not available for everyone at this time.
It is expected that all British Columbians will be vaccinated in 2021, but first the most at risk must be protected.
The first phase of vaccinations will be given to frontline health care providers working in long-term care, and in high-risk hospital settings.
Other priority groups will receive the vaccine in the coming weeks and months.
This post will be updated as more information becomes available, please check back for more information here as it rolls out.
Immunization clinics are being organized in 172 BC communities, and will be overseen by your local health authority. Pre-registration for this will be available in March, 2021. As the BC Government releases this information it will be updated on this post and via the links.
During this time, please continue to do all you can to prevent spread of the virus, and to keep you and your loved ones safe.
This means wearing a mask when you’re out, limiting your contacts to those living in your household, and washing your hands frequently. This will be important for some time to come.
Thank you for your patience and please stay safe.
