BC Family Doctors has made it easier to get these two sick notes. Eligible employees in BC can now take up to five paid sick days. If an employer is requesting a sick note this is not required as of January 18, 2022 by the Provincial Health Officer (PHO).
This is for return to work, school or daycare or childcare.
BC Family Doctors believes that this puts an unnecessary burden on the already overwhelmed health care system.
